National Youth Environment Forum(2)

... yue wen was with me as we chose the topic poverty and population. we entered the room, reluctantly, coz we saw very few ppl inside the room. that means we had to talk MORE! 3 people were sitted at the front, they were probably professors. One of them i want to highlight is a man in blue shirt. The man in pink shirt, professor XYZ asked us 1 question "how does natural factors affect the poverty? Starting from the right, every one was supposed to answer his question. I panicked. What to do? I didnt even get the question. Yue wen and my neigbour asked me what ws the question... i whispered "Natur..al re..ssour..cee afffectssss pooo..oovertee". Time wont wait for us, it was my neighbour's turn and then MY TURN! I sketch a mindmap breifly and wrote whatever came to my mind. I cant possibly said "I dont know" to the professor. it would be damn embarassing.

"Errmm.. for factors, rite? I think it's the pollution, especially water pollurion... er i mean... when there's oil spill... fish die... errr... fisherman dont earn money" he hesistated for a while before accpeting my answer. Yue wen also crapped with me... so there's nth much to tok abt.

In the discussion, the JC people were silent, leaving the poly and uni students to argue. Facts, statistics flew across the room, giving us a fright. It was certainty NOT FUN but FRIGHTENING.

After the discussion, we had break. We had eclair and cake. Then both of us went back to the conference hall, looking for Ani and Li ming. haha Ani left me a message, telling me that she went away. I was idiot for not leaving the SMU building. When we went back to the conference hall, we saw Li ming talking to the professor, in blue shirt as i've mentioned. She a pro! She can communicate with strangers. Arts sudent mar, cannot blame them.

"Hey, Li ming!"
"Oh how? Did you talk?" Li ming asked
"oh, errmm yar, we talked alot. it was fun. we even argued with the people, but ya noe, we lost, rite, yue wen?"
Yue wen laughed.

We were told to go into the conference hall. Ok? We took the pevious seat and rest. I told them to go up. Li ming agreed and went went up. The presentation started. The first presenter presented quite well, but i think they talked the same things as us. Second presnter who pronounced quite badly presented his points. Third presenter was an indian and she spoke fluently. Everything seems okay, and i was playing my palm.. until.... A sound came off from the front seats and it was getting louder. It was so weird that i cant write it in words. "aaahhhHHHHHHHH" Everyone looked at the person in shocked! Some "adults" rushed to helped him. They stucked something in his mouth. There was a crowd around him, probably they were KPO rather than helpful. The MC told us to get back to our seat.
"what's that?"i asked
"I think its a 'fit', but i dont know how it works."

Later, the mc gave us 10 minutes break and wanted us to go from the back door. They were going to call the ambulence. We planned to run off. Yar... we should.. We went to the first floor and wanted to go out. But we didnt know how to get out. I noticed a man going through the last door and it opened automatically. Hey we should go through there! We looked around suspiciously looking for any facilitator and we made for the door. Yeah! Let's GEt OUT OF HERE!

Suddenly, lots of facilitator went down to make way for the person. Ambulence was heard outside the building. It was the man in blue shirt. Just for your info the man in blue shirt is a professor in NUS and Li ming got his name card... muhahaha
After sending him to the ambulence, they went back to the building. Hey you all can go up already. We nodded our head.
As we've planned earlier, we waited while their attention was not with us and we secretly went to the toilet.... to hide...

We were pleased to see that all of the facilitators had gone up and we rushed to the door! bye...
