Yes. Christmas is over. Notice i didnt put up the photos of the christmas tree in my house. Obviously not, it's the same as last year. I mean, the lights were from Ikea and all decorations used were the same. But, its interesting to see that my grandma's house has got a... well, weird yet cool christmas tree. I think this tree will win an award in the 'best creativity' category. Lol. Firstly, the tree(which is REAL) is planted on a chinese pot. You see that? I see dragons... Secondly, look closely! There is a chinese lantern hanging on the tree(more suitable for Lunar new year). HAHA. Is this thing in stores? Whatever it is, its soooo creative.

Yes. 2007 is going to end soon. These are extract of some entries from this year. Enjoy.
"Today, zhihui went to the staff toilet (thick skin). But! She found our CT's hp inside the toilet. She asked us if it is out CT's hp. Obviously it's hers - her old-Nokia-monotone phone with SMS still opened. And the sms said smth about GP. haha. Before we passed the hp to her, we made up story to remind her that her phone is in the toilet. But too bad, she insisted that she swiched off her phone." -25th January 2007

"Immediately, after i've finished reading, i doozed off, with alot of things on my bed. I ignored. I closed my eyes. The next minute, i found myself lying in the bed in the reverse direction. Then, i wanted to turn myself to the other side. I dont know why, my fingernail scratched my thumb. And it was bleeding. I ignored... I woke up again, this time early morning. I looked at the clock and it was 5.30am. I was telling myself i had 1/2hr more to sleep. (stupid)Then, i realised i forgot to turn off my hp. And just then, I found out today is Saturday (Stupidd!)." -20th January 2007

"When i was walking home to busstop 8, i past a HDB flat. I saw lots of cockroaches lying on the floor. Some were dead, some were crawling (probably 1/2 dead). And i tried not to step on them - so i walked slowly. A cockroach suddenly dropped beside me from nowhere. Then, the scary part comes. Another cockroach flew to my neck and i tried to chase it away. Unfortunately, i went in deeper to my shirt. I ran and did whatever i can to GET IT OFF!" -17th January 2007

"Monday, a maths lecturer called Ms O** checked attendance for the lecture. Based on her, 20 people were absent for the lecture. She demanded those who skipped lecture to give her either MC or parent's letter. While she was scolding, a class went out from the back of lecture theatre; probably got SPA. She screamed at them; damn loud. And I could see tears coming out of her eyes. " -14th February 2007

"Nono! We cant rest in holiday. So, my bro and I team up to beat against the computer for the game age of mythology. My sister turned off the wireless internet and our Direct IP game got disconnected. :( After that, we went back to my grandma's house which is near parkway. We had dinner there and stayed till 10pm. "The stupidest thing I've done this week is to go KBox. Initially i went there to see the atmosphere. But my friends(JIM, Cheng Xi, Feng Ning, except Zhi hui) wanted me to sing. Ok... then i pair up with Feng Ning to sing FIR 天天夜夜. Then i sang 一首简单的歌. It's damn embarassing. But, i may go back next time." -8th April 2007

"Most of the our class people who signed up for ice-cream making, signed up for this edible glass workshop. I almost couldn't get in due to overwhelming response. But i managed to get in- some how. Anyway, Ching wee, Jim Hazimah, wani, steph, Jaslin and zh turned up. Guess who is the TIC? It's Mr wong! Haha It's quite fun and need more skill to make lollipop rather than ice cream. "Last saturday, SnE and J1s went for star gazing. It's so coool. I saw saturn and jupiter. Wah. The interchange at 1am is so empty; and the lights were off at 2+. The strange thing is that ALOT of people were in McDonalds. I think they are earning alot." -15th May 2007

"The most embarrassing thing was the eye check when she asked me to put both hands together to form a small hole and look though the hole. After that, she wanted me to read the digits for colour blind. The funny thing was that i continued to put both hands together and read. SO PAISEH!" -30th May 2007

"A lady, apparently the staff of the LJS[Long John Silver] talked to us. She said we were well behaved compared to other TPJCians. She commented that she has seen lots of educated people scolding the low class word (vulgarity i think). And she told us to do research on why youngsters nowadays like to say out the low class word (maybe a GP essay qn?). I replied that its a norm for them. But she didnt answer back (maybe she dun understand). She's speaking the truth, but she was like grandma beating around the bush. Somehow, she interrupted our meal." 29th June 2007

Okay. These few days i was busying buying new clothes for next year's lunar new year. I'm not sure when is it, but if i'm not wrong next year's lunar new year will be early. Anyway, i went to The Central, Bugis Junction, Vivocity and Tampines Mall. WoW. Alot right? (yeah like real)

I hate shopping, especially on weekends. I mean the shops these days are getting smaller, yet the crowd is getting bigger. And when i see crowd, i will tend to be confuse and eventually leave the shop. Then it is damn irritating to find out the clothes that i want, don't fit me. How fun can it be? I don't know.

It's a week man! I havent left the house since i've got the stupid stomach flu. And its bothering me. I cant eat much as i use to be. The cause? Two suspicious causes: (1)Salmon Sushi (2)$15 buffet at Boon Keng
But, i insist that the latter is the cause.

Nono, i wont stop here. There's so MANY things happening to me this week. Let's look at the top 3 since im so lazy to write the rest.
1. I'm taking basic driving test on feb. (I'm nt sure wad the offical term is). But, here's a big step that a lazy person is taking.
2. I've helped my sis to pick a fujistu notebook. She was xp person and now she's totally love vista. (looks like) anyway, here's how my blog looks like in vista. Nice rite?

3. I've borrowed 3 books from the library. YES! The library. haha... weird. i'm still kinda lost in library. Just beginning to learn how to use the "hi-tech" machine to borrow books. Probably i should go to borders too. Gee. I saw one at Parkway.

I repainted my room, started opening my basic theory of driving book. Walked(not run) around Bedok reservior. Caught drama series too. Yucks. It sounds so boring.

Wasted my time. I was actually lying on the bed for the whole day. I've got stomach flu. That's what the doctor said, plus slight fever. So there's nothing to blog about. Oh yar, i did manage to watch half of the show about brain/genius in NGC.

But, there's something more interesting which happened to me on Saturday.

I was at vivocity with my brother and we were heading to the marketplace/hawker centre opposite. We didnt really know the route to the hawker centre, so we went back to MRT station to get some directions.

Unfortunately, a man and 2 gals stopped us.

"hey, shake hands with him" the man told 2 the gals.

The 2 gals (probably trainee) seem unwillingly to shake hand with me.

"Actually they are supposed to hug you, but you're a male, so..." blah blah

What I remembered was he told us that they were from some organization that got to do with entrepreneurship. The rest, he was speaking too fast and i can hardly manage to catch what he said. Then, he told my bother and me that we had a kind heart. So, he's gonna give us pen, 1 each. WE WERE TOO STUPID TO TAKE THEM BECAUSE HE WOULD ASK FOR "DONATION".'

I got tricked once before at tampines. But this time, they used another trick. probably, you might think i'm stupid, but if that's you, you might fall into the trap too.

Here's their trick:
Realise that he didnt ask for the price and me myself is suppose to name it.
Somewhere in between every speech, he hypnotizes you.
He speaks very fast, so as to confuse the victim.
Notice the way he stands. He must obstruct your way, so you cant escape.
He speaks very well of you, eg having a good heart, so to make you guilty for not donating.

How to prevent it:
Ignore it. Continue walking. They'll chase after you. Continue walking until at least 300m from where they stand and dont turn your head back.
If you accidentally fall into their trap. Never mind. Whatever things got to do with money, dont open your wallet. There's not a need to feel gulity, even you are holding their pen. Just say "I'm not feeling kind today"

I tell you. If i have the time. I will stand around these malls and wait for these tricksters. Now, they are in the hot soup. Really...

The day after prom night, li shan called me and looks like she earned quite alot of money from working. I think someday, i really need to go to agency to look for job. On one hand, i felt its unfair as those people that enter NS on Jan do not need to work. And CANT I HAVE MY DEC HOL AFTER THE STRESSFUL ALVL? On the other hand, ipod CLASSIC and PSP SLIM is all over my mind. I need to get $$ since i couldnt get my bursary of $300 (my family seems too "rich" to get one) I AM SO ANGRY.

Ok, moving on. I've been slacking this week. Last week i was like full of energy. But lately, i felt lazy. What i feel like doing now is to run at bedok reservior(it's raining... so...) or prepare spaghetti, usually those no-brainer job. Argh.

Anyway, here's a quick update of my life:
1) I've just upgraded to Mac OS X Leopard. Yeah! It's super-cool.
2) My dad got a new car. (It's like 3-4 months already, and i've not posted it up on my blog)

Monday, it was prom night. I had quite some fun there. Although i was quite disappointed that i couldnt find ppl that i've known other than my classmates. And the food was really horrible. I could guess the standard when the first dish was served. If you can assume i m a food critic, I WILL GIVE IT 2/10. Really, i meant it.

Anyway, i reached grand hyatt at 645. I thought i will be late coz there was TRAFFIC JAM AT PIE! I didnt get the message that it will start at 8pm. Nvm. Obviously i was the only s10 ppl around. I called jim non stop so as to check if he has reached the place; we agreed to meet there at 630. Never did i expect the gals reached even later. Then, i saw zhihui with the golden dress. I was thinking why she didnt wear the green dress. (It's okay not to understand this sentence, its our her secret.)

Yea, yea. He fan and his gang came. Took some photos. Expectedly, he fan was looking for his *cough*....

Then, during the show, when the host asked for the gal with the shortest skirt form 2 teams, we shouted "zhihui". Yar, she came out unwillingly and competed with another gal from another team. Unfortunately, our team lost. Then i also won myself a pair of tickets. I dont know what's that, but i just pass to my sister.

Overall, the guys were smartly-dressed and the gals were beautiful at the night.

Yeah! Finally, i've completed the space theme. Unfortunately, things dont always go so smooth. The menu is not working well in all browsers. There are some bugs in firefox too. And there's a need to clean up some mess. OK. This theme bascially looks like the theme before. I took more time solving the bugs(previously, the theme was full of errors and bugs) rather than designing. So it may not be that nice. Looks like someone has kept himself up-to-date to the latest web tools.

Ah! I feel much better now. Few weeks before, i felt very bad and depress. At first, i thought it was due to exams. But then, after exams it didnt change. i guess after going out, i feel MUCH better.

*cough* Yesterday, i went out with Zhihui to shop for her prom night dress. She said that her golden dress is weird. Well... We went to CS, then to The Central and back to Orchard.

I didnt do much yesterday. So there's nothing to talk about. Oh oh oh oh... I just have a bowl of shark fin soup from my
grandma. Taste yummy. Sorry, i hope you wont be very jealous of me.
